October 2025 Honoree
Alexandra Burke, RN
Even with little sleep and working in a high demanding assignment, Lexie took time to understand the subtle queues and read lips of a quadraplegic trach patient. She took the extra time while performing nursing care to chat with the patient, discovering what he used to do for a living, and learning about his family. Lexie took initiative to see if Care Management had additional resources to aid family in transporting the patient to doctor appointments. I feel honored having her as my partner.
Thank you, Alexandra, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
