Alexandra shows great compassion for our patients, explains things so it's understood, calms the patients when there is fear and takes the time to listen. She is very thorough and pays attention to detail, she never misses a beat. Although I believe I'm quick to chart as it happens, she always seems to beat me to it, "how do you do that?" We always say we work best as a team and that no patient is just a mine or yours. Well, she has proven so many times that when we work together it will always be as a team because to her there is no other way. Most recently we worked a weekend shift together with 15 patients, me being the only SHA. No matter how busy or overwhelming it got she stretched herself thin to not only do her best to make the patients comfortable but to also make my day a little easier. I would love to see her be recognized for all the hard work she does and to know that she is greatly appreciated every day that she comes to work.
