Alexandra was my father’s nurse when he was admitted to the Neuro ICU following a stroke, and from the very beginning, our family felt her genuine care and concern. Her dedication to her patients is evident in everything she does—from the way she carefully explains each step of care to my father, even when he is sedated, to the calm and reassurance she provides during stressful moments.

My father recognizes Alexandra’s voice and visibly relaxes when she speaks to him, calming quickly when he becomes agitated. This speaks volumes about the trust and comfort she has built with him. Our family asks many questions about my father’s care, and Alexandra is always available, responsive, and thorough. In fact, she knows our family so well that she often answers questions before we even have to ask them.

She has taken the time to truly get to know us, fostering an exceptional level of trust that goes far beyond what is required of her role. Having a loved one critically ill is terrifying, but Alexandra has eased an incredible amount of stress for our family through her loving care, transparent communication, and unwavering support. She is truly one in a million.
