My husband was brought to Telemetry Unit from ICU. Of course, EVERYONE was kind, caring, and highly skilled. But I must say I was experiencing very highly emotional distraught and even belligerent behavior. This wonderful nurse exhibited such kindness, compassion, and loving persistence to help me come back from the hell that I was trapped in. Alex kept coming back even after all my outbursts. I must admit, I am an independent, strong-willed, and mature lady. I don’t take “GUFF” from anyone. This mentally, powerful, and loving young lady coaxed me off the cliff. Alex is deserving of this award. She is my hero. ~
