Alex cared for a patient for three days, she was nominated by the family. She always entered the room with a smile and professionalism. Her compassion was exemplary. her natural ability of sharing and receiving a good laugh, her joy was contagious. She was always patient and respectful when delivering and receiving clinical information to the patient. The family was always included within the care team, and Alex didn't hesitate to inform or clarify pertinent information. Alex valued their contributions and the contributions of others on the team.

Alex's practical and clinical knowledge was demonstrated by her spirit and commitment. Her effective interpersonal relationship with the family and reassured our confidence in the care she was providing.

Alex is a joyous individual that always has a smile on her face and her positive outlook on life is evident to all, including the family that nominated her. The Neuro/Trauma unit is lucky to have such a compassionate and caring nurse.
