Alex was my nurse during my chemo infusion sessions at the Cancer Center. I found her immediately concerned about and interested in my wellbeing. She was calm and able to inject levity into a stressed situation without being comical. When I asked how she would know if I was having a reaction to the chemo, she calmly and comfortingly stated, "Oh, I'm watching you," with a smile and eye contact. She gave me total comfort - I consider her to be one of my guardian angels.
