I was admitted from the ER to the 4th floor for cellulitis. It was discovered that I had a blood clot in my leg. Alex took care of me that night. Being a nurse manager, I tend to watch other nurses and nursing assistants. Alex is everything that exemplifies the nursing profession. She was friendly, reassuring, respectful, and patient. Alex handled every patient with dignity. I had issues with my IV wanting to stop and making me uncomfortable. Alex was very patient and kind every time she had to fix it. She was never short, cranky, or acted as if I was a bother even though the floor was full and very busy. She went out of her way to calm me and make me comfortable. Alex displayed knowledge and experience that was reassuring and very welcome. Alex is an amazing nurse who made my visit much, much better, and more tolerable. Thank you so much, Alex!!
