Alexandria "Alex" was contacted by a sister unit requesting information to complete a CPM tutorial for one of the novice nurses. The patient was post knee surgery requiring CPM twice daily. The nominator originally spoke with another nursing unit who stated they could not assist at present due to acute issues on the unit. Then when Alex was contacted she "did not hesitate to assist" the novice nurse. Alex located the appropriate equipment, went to the unit to in-service staff to ensure a safe and positive outcome for the patient and a great mentor for the nursing staff.

Alex has also received written recognition on her willingness to assist both patients and staff.
