Alex is our educator, and she is excelling in her role. She has changed the orientation process for our new grads and is reflecting on their success.
Alex is a phenomenal leader! She does so much for not only all the ED staff, but especially the new grads. As a new grad, it was scary starting off, but Alex made us feel so welcomed and confident in our abilities and assured us we were never alone. She is more than a team player and is always ready to jump in wherever she can help!
Alex consistently reviews and updates our educational needs in policies, charting, and skills, while doing it with a sunny disposition. Although she is part of our office staff, she frequently jumps in to work the floor as though she never left the bedside.
Alex is our educator, and she is excelling in her role. She has changed the orientation process for our new grads and is reflecting on their success. Alex is willing to come out to the floor and get hands-on with the patients and even stay late to help the staff nurses get a break on very busy days. Alex is knowledgeable and shares her knowledge with the staff while making them feel comfortable. She goes above and beyond to create fun activities (duck hunt, jeopardy, etc) to keep the staff engaged. Alex is just the best!
From when Alex was on the floor to our current educator, she has always been nothing but amazing at her job. She is one of the best nurses I’ve worked with, from being so knowledgeable in everything she does to being able to do all the skills and be able to assist everyone else on the floor when they need it. And now, as our educator, she educates and listens to any concerns that we have and is willing to hear out and receive feedback from her team. Genuinely an amazing person and nurse. So grateful for her!
