During my stay in cardiac care, I developed a migraine, which is not very unusual for me. My husband brought me my medication but Alexandru my nurse advised that I could not take it until it was approved and logged in by a pharmacist. However, he knew I was hurting and in the midst of many other duties. Alexandru literally ran to the pharmacy to expedite the process as quickly as possible and ensure I could take my medication and feel better. Alexandru is a most dedicated nurse and cares a great deal about his patients. Mr. Cristea went to extraordinary lengths to help me get home when I had already been cleared by the appropriate physician. He is very impressive nurse, kind compassionate, wise, super-competent, always juggling a half dozen different things/patients with ease and a kind smile on his face. He is by far the best nurse I ever had at Valley, and I hope you give him this award. He deserves it. I will never forget his kindness, competence, compassion, and for going to bat for me.
