Alexis Cameron, BSN, RN

Alexis has been an amazing addition to our department and to Mercy Hospital. Not only is she willing to work in the procedure center, but she has also worked on the floor, assisting to ensure adequate staffing and improve quality of patient care. Alexis is attentive to patient’s needs and goes above and beyond to assist them. When Alexis was discharging a patient and the vehicle's tire was flat, Alexis was out in the parking lot pumping the tire for them! She also took it upon herself to round up $4.00 that a patient needed to pick up their prescription. The patient had to have surgery and was out of work which was taking a toll on finances for the family. While these things may seem small to her, the impact she has made is tremendous.
