She even left me encouraging messages on the whiteboard if I was asleep when she came in.
I was admitted to IMC around midnight in January od 2025 with multiple blood clots in both lungs. Alexis was my initial nurse that night and the next evening. I was not able to fall asleep as I feared having a stroke or heart attack. Lexi came in to see if she could do anything for me, and I explained my fears.

She went above and beyond, taking the time to explain that my vitals were being monitored continuously and that she was also sitting right outside my room and could see in the window, ensuring me that if anything happened, she, as well as a team, would be in the room before I realized it.

The kindness and care I was shown by Lexi was what helped me to relax enough to sleep. She even left me encouraging messages on the whiteboard if I was asleep when she came in. Even when she was no longer my nurse, she left a message telling me “You’ve got this!". It's because of Lexi's caring attitude and kind encouragement that my hospital stay was a positive one. She was a bright shining star to me during a difficult time. Thank you, Lexi, for all that you do for your patients.
