Alexis is comforting and nurturing by nature. She explains procedures before they began and is excellent at checking on her patients. I've had MS for 23 years, cancer, and avascular necrosis in both hips, and in need of spinal surgery, but my bone density is terrible. She is positive and upbeat! She does not stay glued to a computer, she is very patient-focused. She is genuinely compassionate even to those of us with pain problems. I've known a life of pain for 23 years and though I worked, I was still judged. Alexis had no judgment, she simply treated me like a patient. And I fully believe she would advocate for me. A nurse that is good at her job, compassionate, friendly, trusting of the patient, and willing to advocate hard for the patients, those are perfect nurses!
