As I was sitting in my room talking about how much I missed my family and especially my kiddos, and Alexis saw an opportunity to help me. She showed me pictures of her son, laughed, and completely comforted me. I know the nurses are busy- but when someone takes that simple 4-5 minutes to share that we are on the same level and lift my spirits...I couldn't be more thankful. You never could imagine a nurse like Alexis. She has easily become one of my favorites with her graciousness, kindness, empathy, and joy. I adore her! She helped to do IV lines for other staff who needed her to help and is a rock star. Don't lose this nurse she is a gem. She is professional and personable every minute. What a fantastic human being.
