A family member recognized Alexis because of the care that she provided to her husband but most importantly the care that Alexis provided to the wife and the patient's child. The entire family received comfort and joy from Alexis. Alexis recognized that the illness not only belongs to the patient, but the illness and hospitalization belongs to the entire family. Families feel the pain just as the patient. Alexis provided a caring to the entire family unit recognizing their needs. The family and patient are having a good recovery because of Alexis' care.
