Alexis continually shows compassion and care for not only her patients but their families and co-workers. Her commitment to nursing is outstanding and shows what nursing is all about. I recently witnessed her with a patient who was in respiratory distress. While the doctors and other nurses did what they needed to do to help, Alexis stayed right beside the patient holding her hand and caressing her head. I have seen her interact with all her patients the same way. You never know if she is having a bad day because she never shows it. She is a true asset to Kennedy and the nursing profession.
