My little brother recently spent an entire month in the CVPCU. He was really ill and ended up having to spend his 21st birthday in the hospital. Alexis went above and beyond for him on his special day. She did everything she could to make him feel special. She brought him apple cider (since he couldn’t have his first legal drink), cookies, and a card. It was so kind and thoughtful that it brought tears to my eyes.

A couple of days before his birthday, my brother had to have a second surgery on his heart. With it being an emergency, the whole experience was really scary. Alexis took time out from calming my brother down, to calm me down and make sure that I was okay. This whole experience has been really difficult for him and our family but knowing that Alexis was his nurse multiple times during his hospital visit has put our hearts at ease. Any time I came in to see him she always greeted me with a smile and said "Hello." Alexis is a great nurse and we are deeply appreciative of her.
