I got diagnosed with cancer when I was 20 years old, and she was my nurse. She stood by my side as I heard the hardest thing I’ve ever been told, she was there for me through all of it. Even after she would clock out of work, she would come and see me, check up on me, and buy me gifts from the gift shop. When I got my own room and went upstairs, she still thought of me and came up and saw me. I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse when I was going through what I went through. She has the kindest heart and would do anything for anyone. She made sure I was comfortable and mentally okay and did ANYTHING she could to help. I seriously couldn’t be more thankful for her. I am now currently in remission, but there is not a day that goes by when I don’t think of how thankful I am for a nurse like her!
