Lexi was knowledgable, attentive, and supported my desire for an epidural free labor. At one point when I was discovering why it was called labor, Lexi asked if there was anything she could do for me. I couldn't think of anything. She then offered to put my hair up. This singular act brought me a level of comfort no medication could have provided. When it was discovered my MP3 player was inoperable, Lexi brought in her personal cell phone to play music to assist me through labor. She made sure I was informed of everything that could happen as the night progressed so I could honestly say I had few surprises. Lexi also coached my "coach" in ways he could lessen labor's toll on me. As if this wasn't enough, Lexi stopped by my hospital room a few days later to check on our new family. Lexi Thomas made a lasting impression on us and we will never forget how compassionate, kind, and sincere she was.
