May 2026 Honoree
Alexsey Czajkowski, RN
I am honored to commend Lexi Czajkowski for the exceptional care she provided to my husband during two separate Emergency Room visits.
Lexi was my husband’s nurse in the ER. Despite an extremely demanding workload, she remained consistently attentive, compassionate, and responsive to his needs. As a nurse myself, I recognize when someone truly goes above and beyond—and Lexi exemplified that standard. She ensured my husband never had to wait unnecessarily for pain management and took the time to clearly explain every intervention in a way he could understand. Her ability to combine efficiency with genuine patient-centered care was remarkable.
When we returned to the ER, Lexi was our triage nurse. Not only did she immediately recognize both me and my husband, but she even remembered my profession. In a setting where nurses see hundreds of patients each month, that level of personal connection is extraordinary. She once again demonstrated outstanding clinical judgment by ensuring my husband was triaged and admitted quickly, all while maintaining the same calm, compassionate demeanor we experienced during our first visit.
Lexi treats her patients with urgency, respect, and empathy. Her ability to make patients feel seen, heard, and cared for, even in a fast-paced emergency environment, truly sets her apart.
