I brought my husband in for a heart attack. The hospital was very full and we had to stay in the ER for 29 hours which included overnight. We are both in our late 70s. Alexx was very kind to my husband and checked on him often even though there were 130 patients in the ER that night. I suffer from arthritis and because I had no idea that he had a heart attack, I was without any medication or other supplies for myself. We live over an hour away. She was able to get us some heated blankets, some food (we hadn't eaten lunch or dinner while waiting in the ER) and a pillow for me (which are hard to find in the ER). She also told me where I could get some Tylenol. After 14 hours in a straight back chair which was painful for me, here comes Alexx pushing a big old heavy recliner at 2 in the morning so that I would be more comfortable. She said she was searching in some store rooms to see if there was anything that could help me. She was a godsend. As a result of her kind assistance, I was much more comfortable, and so was my husband who was worried about me. I feel that Alexx not only shows extraordinary compassion to the patient but to the patient's family members as well. Alexx is a gem.
