...I was busy with an admission that arrived at change of shift. She saw I was busy and asked what she could do to help. I asked her if she could give a medication to one of my patient's whose med was due an hour earlier. Not only did she pass meds on that patient but she passed meds on all 5 of my patients, besides passing meds on her own patients. Priceless! She does stuff like this all the time and staff, I believe, take her for granted because this is her nature to do what's best for the patient and be a resource for her colleagues. I simply don't think a thank you is enough for all the things she does for us. She is an excellent nurse.
