Aley is a very humble individual who exhibits high standards of integrity that are consistent with her strong Christian faith. She does not preach to patients but uses the tenets of her faith as a cornerstone for her devotion and passion for patient care. Aley treats patients and staff the same regardless of how others may approach or treat her. She is constantly smiling and laughing and her positive outlook is quite respectful and uplifting to others. I have observed Aley re-educate a patient over and over, even long after her shift has ended until she feels that patient understands their care instructions.
She is a very strong RN who understands her nursing role and responsibility and executes her work with patients in a thorough manner. She constantly involves other team members in care of the patient, often referring to social work, dietitian, and financial counselor, based on patient need. Aley arrives at work on time with a smile and cheer for all. She works every minute of every day she is here. She often works late completing final discharges and education with patients; she does not rush just to "leave on time" but very seriously completes her nursing care/education with each patient. She uses supplies as needed and is responsible in use of vaccines. She brings value to patients and taxpayers by the level of expertise and nursing care she provides every day. Aley is adaptable and has worked quite hard to learn some of our new processes in electronics. She is not afraid of change, of new processes or to ask for help until she is able to master what is needed so that she can provide the 1 on 1, hands on nursing care that is so very important for our seniors.
