I recently spent 34 days in a row on 4West after being diagnosed with AML. As a former navy hospital corpsman with 13 years of active duty and having worked at 4 different hospitals during my career. I've seen many hospital staff members that go above and beyond the call of duty. Alfred showed a tremendous amount of care and concern that stood out from others. All the staff and care I received were excellent in their performance as medical professionals. My congratulations to the supervisory RNs. Every request was received with a good attitude and prompt response. I want to thank all the 4West medical professionals for their care and attitude toward me during my lengthy stay. Please give this letter of appreciation to Alfred and my appreciation to all the staff. When others may complain about the VA Health care system, I will always speak up for the excellent care and professionalism I received. Thank you all.
