When I first came to Valley, the first couple of days, were hard as I was still in the "you can't tell me what to do, I do what I want!!!" stage. Well, the third day, Ali became my day nurse, and right off the bat, I felt very comfortable and at ease. I knew I needed to ask Ali questions, but I never had the strength half the time to even remember what my questions were.
Well, not only did Ali somehow find a way to get me to ask my questions and find out the answers to my questions, she had a bunch of info for me! I was in tears a couple of times because I was so grateful and thankful. She went way above and beyond to gather as much information that she could.
It is so easy to talk to Ali and I instantly grew a bond with her and never once felt judged, discriminated, or profiled. She treated me like a human being and did not look at my history or treat me in a certain way because of prior health situations.
Ali let me know that my life is worth so much more and made me feel like a better person. Ali is truly a gem! Thank you, Ali, you changed my life and you are a Rockstar!
