Aliah Metzger, RN

I just wanted to recognize Aliah Metzger for her patience and compassion while she cared for an ex-micro preemie baby who presented to the ER. She was patient with the mother and accommodating to her requests. She was happy to gather the supplies I needed to help care for the patient. She provided great comfort and pain management for our little patient to make sure he was as comfortable as he could be in his mom's arms for all the tests/procedures we had to do. She was eager to learn as well.

This mom was very anxious. I am so thankful Aliah and Dr. N put the patient and family's comfort first and did not rush to complete the tasks at hand. Their whole experience in the ER could have been very different had they not had a family-friendly, patient-focused mindset. Keep up the great work!
