Alice Miller, RN

Ms. Miller was helping a Veteran who had a medical procedure, and they were extremely grateful for the care she provided. He was in for a routine response to a heart attack and had a stent placed in one of his three major arteries. They shared that she was on top of the situation, knew his chart information, and provided his medications on time. They said that Alice helped, so the protocols were understandable. She assisted with insulin administration and ensured he was comfortable. The Veteran and family shared that his supply of depends ran out, and she was able to find a supply for him. Alice Miller was described by the Veteran as a personable, caring nurse who listened to all his ramblings and talked about common interests. She is truly deserving of recognition for her advocacy, integrity, and especially for her respect for Veterans and others.
