My family nominates Alice Gregory, on 4 South - Neuroscience floor for excellent care of our family member, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. My mother was admitted to Maryview Hospital after suffering a bilateral stroke. As soon as my mom was admitted, she was nothing but accommodating and caring.

Upon admission to the hospital, Alice went to the cafeteria and purchased a salad for my mom, as the kitchen had already served lunch that day and mom expressed interest in eating a salad. She went above the call of duty to use her own money to purchase a meal for a patient. She also watched over my mother one evening so our family could go home and eat dinner. This was truly a blessing, as my 6 week old son was with us, and desperately needed to go home to be changed and fed.

Alice treated my mom with the utmost professional respect, as my mother is also a nurse. After all my mother's years of taking care of people, it was comforting seeing my mother receiving the same level of care she had always given to her patients. Thank You!
