November 2019 Honoree
alicia boggs, RN
Four years ago, I was involved in a horrible car accident and fortunately one of your nurses saved my life.
I was working in Corpus Christi when a welding truck t-boned my vehicle, sending me into a ditch that nearly ended my life. Alicia Boggs and her husband, who were on vacation, responded quickly, removing me from my vehicle and keeping my airway open. I believe their actions kept me alive and enabled me to recover. I can't thank her enough; because of her, my wife still has a husband and my daughter still has a father.
My apologies for not writing sooner, her actions on that day have been on my mind. We don't know each other but I wanted you to know that I'm grateful to Ms. Boggs and her husband. The concept of "Selfless Service" is on your Medical Staff - Alicia Boggs.
