Alicia Foley, RN

I am delighted to nominate Alicia Foley for the DAISY Award. Alicia's actions exemplify the extraordinary compassion and dedication that this award celebrates. On her day off, Alicia went above and beyond to help a colleague in need. When a colleague had to work but also had a flat tire, Alicia and her husband came to the hospital, removed the tire, found a nail, plugged it, and put it back on the colleague's car. This selfless act of kindness and support demonstrates Alicia's commitment to her colleagues and her willingness to go the extra mile. In turn, the colleague was able to be here at the hospital, providing care to our patients. Alicia's actions not only solved a practical problem but also provided emotional support and relief to her colleague. Her willingness to help, even on her day off, reflects her deep sense of responsibility and care for those around her. Alicia Foley truly embodies the spirit of the DAISY Award through her compassion, dedication, and selflessness.
