Good afternoon, I have been receiving care at the Burlington Wound Clinic since June 2024. I have been scheduled three days per week and accompanied by my wife. My initial exam included a thorough exam by the doctor, complete with an explanation. Care is provided by a knowledgeable, caring team, which produces excellent results. He listened and was very compassionate and caring. I have felt that same care and compassion from all the staff in the clinic who cared for me. However, I have consistently received care from Alicia K as my primary nurse. She is wonderful! She always greets us with a smile, is on time, or acknowledges delays. Dr Krukowski collaborates with her on her assessment findings, and they discuss my progression and treatment recommendations with both my wife and me.

Alicia K is a patient advocate and compassionate nurse. She is willing to reach out to her colleagues when needed to determine alternate approaches that could work better. She cares for the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She uses her knowledge and compassion to make me feel safe, cared for, and her enthusiastic praise keeps my hopes alive for a full recovery. Alicia has also included my wife in every session with the same care and respect, and compassion as she has shown me. Alicia has made this experience so much more than a medical procedure. As a result, I believe Alicia K deserves special recognition as the Daisy Award winner!
