Alicia was a God send when transferred from CVICU to stepdown. Her smiling eyes and calm approach were exactly what was needed. As a younger CABG patient, pain control did not come easy nor did the sense of not being in control of any aspect of my life. Alicia’s approach was one of encouragement, coaching, and options which made me feel an extra layer of care. She was true to her word and always returned as planned; never appeared in a hurry and exercised patience when she didn’t have to and probably didn’t have the extra time. Alicia's dedication and compassion were obvious and definitely made me feel as if I were in the best hands possible. A true blessing!
