Alicia exemplifies the DAISY Award. She takes excellent care of her patients and assures them that their needs are her top priority. She advocates for them and does the right thing for them every time. Alicia utilizes other departments when it’s in the patient's best interest and is not afraid to ask for help when she needs it. As a coworker, she treats everyone with respect and clearly communicates what she needs, why she needs it, and how she would like it done. In my opinion, Alicia is the most deserving of this award and her department is a better place because she is here.
