Ali is a great peer to her fellow managers. She knows many resources and frequently shares her expertise and her organizational skills.
Alicia has led several initiatives specific to our Behavioral Health patient population including standardized handoff and resources for frontline staff. Alicia has contributed to our initiatives for employee safety by implementing a different type of patient restraint and partnering with security to maintain our Code BERT (Behavioral Emergency Response Team) program.

For her own team, Alicia goes above and beyond to make sure every staff member on our floor feels heard, constantly asking for feedback to make sure each staff member isn’t overwhelmed or frustrated. She consistently takes opportunities to educate and learn from mistakes. Ali is a great peer to her fellow managers. She knows many resources and frequently shares her expertise and her organizational skills. When she does not have the answer, she is always willing to work towards a solution together.

Alicia comes to work with a positive attitude and is always willing to help her team and her peers. She frequently advocates for her team; she always keeps the safety of the patients and families at the forefront. Alicia always has a smile on her face and is willing to help with whatever is needed. Her peers described her as honest and open, always willing to clarify a situation or work through a difficult problem. One of her nurses described her as, “everything a leader should be.”
