Alicia called an RRT for a change in her patient. The patient had Acute Mental Status and a suspected seizure. As the patient returned to her baseline neuro status, the patient asked for "my nurse." The patient grabbed Alicia's hand and calmed down. The patient had a strong therapeutic connection with Alicia. The patient's spouse had been at the bedside during the event and was very loving to the patient. It was very touching to see the wonderful relationship Alicia formed.
