We had a patient who received a taxi ride home and was left stranded in a small town due to unforeseen circumstances. Alicia spent a great deal of time calling case managers, family, house managers and the deputy sheriff's department to make sure the patient made it home safely. Alicia showed compassion for this patient as well as other patients she cares for. She went above and beyond to advocate for this patient showing her consistency in providing excellent patient care.
