Alicja has been observed numerous times as being compassionate and caring towards patients, especially the pediatric patient population. She makes her pediatric patients and their families feel welcome and safe during her interactions with them. Alicja is currently working on a project to make the OR more child-friendly with colorful hats, funny noses and other innovative ideas that help alleviate the fear of surgery and the unknown.
