I would like to nominate Aline for her incredible compassion and dedication. When my son passed away, she stayed 2-3 hours after her shift to ensure the OR extubation process went as smoothly as possible. She explained everything about organ donation with such patience and calmness, bringing me comfort during the most difficult moment of my life. What touched me even more is that she learned Spanish on her own time, just to make families like mine feel included and understood. Her kindness, empathy, and unwavering support meant the world to me, and I will never forget what she did for my family. She is truly an extraordinary nurse.
