Today marks 73 days for us with our twins at Dayton Children's. We have had dozens of nurses over that time. If there was only one nurse that we could recognize for her impact on our children and our time at Children's, it would be Aline. The first thing I noticed was that she was kind, thorough, and compassionate.
Aline immediately loved on our little micro-preemies. She talked to them, encouraged them, and cheered on their milestones. She's helped us troubleshoot around some of our twins' struggles and has always been willing to advocate for their care and for our wishes as parents.
Aline has been monumental in helping them grow and thrive in the NICU. As parents, Aline has been supportive and patient. She's listened to my thoughts, concerns, ideas, and fears and responded with both professionalism and compassion. Aline has given me countless pieces of advice that have helped me better parent my twins. I would not have survived my time as a NICU parent, and our children would not have thrived as they have without Aline's compassionate care.
