Alisha treated our grandmother as if she was her own. The level of care she provided was above and beyond what her normal duties would have required of her. At one point, when her heart stopped, Alisha quickly let us know what was happening, then rushed back in to be by her side as she promised she wouldn't leave her. She cried and then rejoiced with us as we went on an emotional roller coaster, and always kept us informed with kindness and compassion. Our family feels that Alisha is a true asset to this hospital and truly makes a difference in the lives of the patients and their families.

This morning was difficult emotionally and physically. Alisha is my nurse and she went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. There was a delay with my blood pressure medicine coming from the pharmacy and Alisha worked tirelessly with pharmacy to get my meds immediately so my blood pressure would not go up. She came to my room repeatedly to keep me informed so I would not get anxious about the situation. Then she personally walked down to the pharmacy to get my needed medication. Alisha is extremely kind and compassionate and anticipated my needs. She is an excellent team member and I have noticed her helping other nurses and staff also. You can tell Alisha really loves being a nurse and taking care of her patients. She is a remarkable and extremely knowledgeable nurse. She is the best of the best as far as nurses are concerned.
