I was in a bad place with a lot on my mind, with my foot as I was focusing on my surgery. She was assigned as my nurse, and she saw how much pain I was in physically and emotionally. She took it upon herself to have a small conversation with me to help calm me down. The smile she gave me during our conversations helped me realize everything was going to be ok. Taking the little time in your schedule for someone is important because you never know the impact it could bring to others. Showing that small drop of love she showed me helped me a lot.
