I am writing to formally commend Registered Nurse Alison for the exceptional care and compassion she provided to me following a physical altercation with a psychiatric patient in Annex R. After sustaining multiple contusions to my forehead and temple areas, RN Alison personally held my hand and escorted me to a room, took my vitals, and ensured I was stable and comfortable. Her professionalism and empathy were evident from the moment she greeted me. In a time when my confidence was shaken, her presence and kindness gave me the strength to keep going. RN Alison leads by example. Under her guidance, the emergency department operates like a well-oiled machine, even in the face of chaos and danger. Her ability to bring calm and clarity to difficult situations is a testament to her leadership and dedication. She is a guiding light in our darkest hours, and I am deeply grateful for the care she provided when I needed it most.
