My husband and I suffered a late miscarriage in 2016 and I was diagnosed with a rare blood clotting disorder. When we became pregnant again in 2017 the pregnancy was very scary for us. The day our daughter was born she became hypoglycemic and was transferred to the NICU. A catheter was put in through her belly button to give her sugar water. As first-time parents, after our tragic loss, we were so upset and nervous for our child. Alison had an impact on us that we will never forget. She took such great care of our daughter while also caring for us and our feelings every day. She is truly passionate about her job! I don't know where we would be without her.
