Alison Czerno

The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Students is awarded to a student who truly shows compassionate care in their developing nursing practice. Today, we recognize Alison Czerno as she volunteers her time to work as an advocate in our local Emergency Rooms for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Alison is coming to nursing as a calling and as a second career. She is driven to help those who are the sick, injured, and most vulnerable in the Emergency Room at Albany Memorial Hospital. Her true compassion and drive to help those who need it most make her most deserving of this Award.
