Unfortunately, I was admitted to A+E. Alison looked after me and delivered exceptional care. Her friendly manner and caring nature were lovely. Despite it being busy, Alison was not fazed by this and took time to check I was ok and supported me the best way she could. I was feeling frightened, Alison reassured me I was in the best place and she would take care of me. When I was struggling with mobilising Alison helped me to the bathroom by holding my hands and gave me time to get there safely, she said to take my time and there was no rush. She made sure I was comfortable and was there where when I needed her.
Alison is a credit to the Emergency Department and is a brilliant nurse. She always had a smile on her face and made me feel at ease. Her caring nature shone through with all other patients. I will never forget the care Alison gave and how lovely she was and was able to calm my worries.
