August 2026 Honoree
Alison Judy, MSN, RN
It is difficult to select just one story that demonstrates how Alison makes a difference because she has been a pillar of the nursing staff at Fisher-Titus for over 20 years.
Most recently in the cardiovascular department, Alison has been a part of several STEMIs where she cared for the patient by administering critical medications, took charge as a leader, and comforted the patient through a very critical experience. Alison was also there for the family as a support person and to provide knowledge at a time when families are unsure what may happen next.
Specifically, Alison advocated for a patient who had recently lost her husband to a heart attack and then faced the same scenario for herself just a day later. Alison stayed with the patient, offering her comfort, and ensured that the patient knew a familiar face during her time of need. She is an outstanding nurse who not only provides excellent care, but also supports patients, families, and other staff members.
She truly is a bright light to anyone who has the pleasure of interacting with her.
