Alison Lawrence, RN

My dad is 90 years old and recently spent three weeks in the VA hospital. He has been in and out of hospitals and rehab centers over the past year, and he truly did not want to go back in again.

We were assigned to Unit 6B and were blessed to have Allison as our nurse. My dad has a feeding tube, an ostomy bag, a catheter, and stage 4 wounds. Despite everything she was managing, Allison always had a smile on her face and consistently made my dad feel comfortable.

I know she was very busy with all her other patients, but she always made time for my dad and our family. Each night when it was time for us to leave, we knew he was in good hands.

Allison continually went above and beyond for our family. It was clear she has a true passion for nursing and is exactly where she is meant to be.
