As a graduate of CU, I often laugh to myself about my alma mater's slogan "Be the nurse everyone looks to first," because Alison is always the nurse I look to first. I am so fortunate to work with Alison as often as I do. She is such an inspiration to me. She is an amazing role model and I admire her both as a nurse and a person. Whenever I am in need of some help or guidance, she is always willing to help, even on the busiest of nights. She is adored by all of her co-workers as well as her patients. I can't even begin to count the number of compliments I have heard about her from her patients. I often feel as if I have some big shoes to fill on the nights she's not here and I have picked up one of her patients. I have learned so much from Alison and I truly believe that I am a better nurse for having the opportunity to work alongside such an amazing person!
