Alison Swift, RN, MSN: DAISY award winner: East Carolina University, Department of Undergraduate Nursing Science Senior Division Ms. Swift has been a moving force in the clinical evaluation process of undergraduate students in the clinical area. She developed a rubric that permits a more consistent evaluation of what is usually a very subjective process. Students cherish their clinical time with her. Her clinical expertise and nurturing demeanor result in a high quality clinical experience for our students. She models a caring, professional nurse as a partner in healthcare. Ms. Swift is a dedicated faculty member with a commitment to the success of our college.
