...I arrived at Riverside, to pick up my mother, who was being released. I felt out of breath, and had some pressure in my chest, which I thought was due to a hiatal hernia condition. Nurse Temple noticed my discomfort and asked how I was feeling. After describing my symptoms she asked to take my blood pressure and pulse and immediately advised me to be checked in the ER. The resulting exam was that I was in A-fib and A-flutter. I was admitted immediately, treated and under went an ablation to correct the condition. Nurse Temple's attention and concern were above and beyond her normal duties. She was extremely busy with her patients but treated me as a priority. Her dedication, calm demeanor, kindness, and professionalism convinced me to seek help and likely resulted in a good outcome for me.
